    Retail Assistant – RA
    Salary starting from £11,000 Depending on experience




    Reporting to the Retail Manager (RM), the Retail Assistant (RA) is the first point of contact for customers visiting there Retail Branch Network and plays an essential role as the “Face of there business” to the Customer. In this key role, the RA is responsible for providing a friendly, respectful and prompt service to all customers and for delivering an outstanding Customer Experience. In addition to providing efficient and accurate counter services, the RA generates referrals for potential new business by securing appointments for customers with Customer Interviewers, Advisors or Financial Planners.
    The RA is targeted and measured on the number and type of appointments generated and the quality of customer interactions. The vast majority of activity in this role is customer facing.

    Success in this role relies on the ability of the RA to conduct accurate customer transactions whilst probing to identify additional customer needs and so generate referrals. Good listening skills and the ability to question effectively are essential. A friendly, outgoing manner – a sunny disposition - and exemplary customer service skills are also critical to effective performance.

    Knowledge Qualifications & Experience
    • Basic understanding of FS Industry
    • Basic Numeracy and Literacy
    • Computer Literacy
    • TCF Framework and Implementation • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent – minimum Grade C
    • 1 – 2 years retail / customer facing experience strongly preferred

    iv) Comply with Society policy and procedure relating to Money Laundering and Anti-Fraud activities
    v) Comply and understand the legal and compliance requirements for your area of the business including TCF, Data Protection and Banking Code
