Our very large client based in Alfreton Derbyshire are looking for a new recruit to their transport team. This is a position working shifts and you will be required to work 4 days on (12 hour shifts) 4 off, 4 nights on 4 off and there is added overtime when wanted - but not always guaranteed.
Your main duties will include the production of Drivers Trip Sheets using the Tasc system, debriefing all trips from previous night by 10.00 hrs, produce Reports as requested:-Missing Volume - Trip Costs - Debrief Status. You will also be required to deal with inbound journeys - take product information from Driver and input into Tasc, outbound journeys - collate information and build up trip sheets for departing journeys and produce manifests, you will provide Drivers with trip information, maps and specific journey instructions and also liaison with customers - answer queries and liaison with Customer Services Department.
As the successful applicant you will be competent with your keyboard skills and have good communication skills. Ideally you will have experience of in-house transport systems, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, In-Cab communication systems, Transport related qualification, Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, Tachograph Legislation.
