A leading firm in the heart of Nottingham is looking to recruit a qualified Solicitor to join their highly thought of Employment Team. They are a four partner firm with a successful Employment Department that acts for a number of prestigious National Companies as well as local SMEs and private clients.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Employment department undertakes all areas of contentious and non contentious work and offers training and seminars. The firm continues to be ranked for employment by 'The Legal 500'. The role will be focused mainly on Respondent work and would suit a qualified Solicitor with Employment Law experience.
Skills and Experience Required
You will need to show a solid understanding of all areas of employment law and proven experience in advising and representing business clients in contentious and non-contentious matters.
You will need to demonstrate relevant experience and an ability to manage your own caseload, including;
· Undertaking advocacy at Employment Tribunals
· The ability to deal with non-contentious matters
· Be keen to become actively involved in the marketing of the department and become a key part of the team
