*To deliver a needle and syringe exchange
*Test for substance misuse
*To offer brief interventions to service users as appropriate
*To offer advice and support to carers and significant others of substance users
*To participate in partnership reviews and multi-disciplinary meetings, and provide reports as appropriate.
*To keep accurate case files, and record activity, including brief interventions. Support individuals in difficult situations
*Facilitate learning through presentations and activities
*Educate people about substance use health and social well-being
*Manage Relationships
