It’s true to say that at National Trust, we want everyone – and we mean everyone – to enjoy the unique, special places we look after. At Sudbury Hall & Museum of Childhood our overriding aim is to ensure people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds enjoy the richly-decorated interiors, naturalised garden and the fine collection of toys, games and dolls on display. You’ll work at the heart of this vision, providing exceptional administrative support to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll be the ambassador for the team, acting as the first point of contact on all enquiries ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. From dealing with correspondence, co-ordinating diaries and estate activities, to managing financial and petty cash systems, you’ll do it all with a friendly smile and a helpful approach. As you assist the Property Manager, it’ll be down to you to maintain staff records, including recruitment, sickness and expenses.

Committed to learning more about National Trust, you’re an experienced administrator (or similar) who is computer literate (particularly when it comes to the Internet and MS Office systems). Without a doubt, you’ve strong verbal and written skills, and are familiar with office working. Highly numerate, it goes without saying you’re an organised and enthusiastic asset to any team. A formal secretarial qualification would be an advantage.
