Job Description

This award winning company are looking to recruit a Chef de partie chef to work within this award winning restaurant.

This is an exciting role for a talented Chef de partie. Dedicated to quality and standards and passionate about food you will have the personality to achieve, you will receive excellent training to the highest of standards. Working in a brigade of 4 you will be highly motivated and able to work well in a team. It would be advantageous for the candidate to have experience within fish restaurants, but training will be given.

Your duties will include:

  • To assist in the management of the kitchen on a day to day basis
  • Ordering of food
  • Carry out stock checks
  • To assist in menu planning
  • Ensure the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.
  • Reporting to the Head Chef

Qualifications/Experience required Must have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. The Head Chef is looking for an all rounder so it is important that all applicants are skilled in all areas of the kitchen. Applicants must be well presented and have strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be standards driven, be able to people manage, well presented; customer focused and come from a quality background.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
