Job Description

Orchard Care Homes are looking to recruit an Activity Co-ordinator for our purpose built care home Rastrick Grange & Hall. The home is a 79 bed, dual registered residential and residential dementia home. We are looking for someone to organize a variety of appropriate, therapeutic and recreational activities to enhance the lives and well being of the residents in our Rastrick care home. This could be anything from a game of bingo or a sing-song, to organising the Christmas celebrations. In addition to scheduling excursions, arranging visits from local entertainers, social groups, schools etc, the role involves budget management, fund raising, and ensuring that all residents receive adequate provision of care staff at all times.
