My client in NG4 are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team. They are a large international manufacturing company.
Main objective of the role:
To implement administrative procedures for enquiries and order entries and maintain a high level of communication with customers in those regions in order to maximise sales and satisfy customers.
Job Environment :
Operates in a very busy sales office without noticeable seasonal peaks but at a constant high pressure. Company policy & customer satisfaction require rapid processing of enquiries and orders. Close liaison is needed both with customers and with other departments of the Company.
Specific requirements of position :
• Process enquiries from customers or sales managers by clarifying any technical or commercial issues with the relevant department & pursuing these enquiries by regular contact with customers.
• Process orders received according to Company procedures, monitor progress of order until they are delivered, having regard to customers’ financial position, maintaining contact with other departments and customers throughout & provide any necessary after-sales service.
• Assist Sales Manager in carrying out any sales and marketing plan for the area of responsibility.
• Maintain close contact when required with overseas manufacturing facilities (USA and France) and sales organisations for the maximisation of sales in territories and exchange of information.
• Be aware & follow requirements of overseas regions with regard to inspection & special technical specifications.
• Process any complaints from customers & ensure high level of communication with the customer throughout the procedure.
• Visit from time to time relevant exhibitions & customers in geographical region of responsibility in agreement with sales manager.
Other areas of responsibility :
• Interaction with customers in accordance with plans established by European Sales Office Manager
• Proactively interface with customers for forecast conversion.
• Increasing level of product knowledge through a training plan established by the European Sales Office Manager, assist customer in their product specification
• Assisted by ESOM, draw up sales plan to maximise orders & customer satisfaction in identified geographical areas
• Report sales activity to relevant Market Sector Manager.
