A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Team Leader to join a very successful household name company within the food industry.

THE ROLE:
As Engineering Team Leader, the successful candidate’s key responsibilities will be to maintain and improve the world class manufacturing standards of the site. You will be required to decrease down-time to an absolute minimum, thus increasing productivity. Proposing key PPM schemes and strategies, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to increase efficiency and identify and resurrect any quality related issues.
Working a “3 days on, 2 days off “12 hour shift pattern, you will lead a team of multi-skilled craftspeople using weighing, bagging, cartoning, packaging, decoding, and metal detecting machinery. A key part of your leadership role is to motivate the other engineers, as well as assist with the recruitment of new team members.
As a multi-skilled engineer yourself, you will also work on the electrical and mechanical maintenance and breakdown of the mentioned machinery. If you have the required qualifications, experience within relevant industries and forward thinking attitude, do not hesitate to apply for this enviable position.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
> Flexibility to work a shift system essential.
> Ideally you will be multi-skilled, but crucial that you are qualified either electrically or mechanically.
> You will have experience within the food, packaging, or plastic manufacturing industries.
